In Ari, old houses and new condos share the same soi. Ari Soi 1 and 2 have early cafés, chicken-rice shops and made-to-order kitchens, and nights are far quieter than in Sathorn or Thonglor.
Several government offices sit on Phahon Yothin Road, so BTS Ari is crowded on weekday mornings. If you have time, Saphan Khwai one stop north is easier for a seat.
