About Dunlaya
We started with two desks off Ratchadaphisek Road in 2015. Today a team of 11 keeps the books for 140 businesses. Our name comes from ดุล (dun), as in งบดุล, the Thai word for a balance sheet: every line has to add up.
Numbers in time to make decisions
Founder Dunlaya Thanawiwat spent nine years at a large audit firm and saw that many small businesses only learned their numbers once a year, at the annual close. That is too late to act on.
So Dunlaya closes the books every month, works to a calendar clients know in advance, and writes reports in language business owners understand. Today about one in five clients is a foreign-owned company or joint venture.

How we work
Four rules the team falls back on whenever work gets rushed or unclear.
- Early, always
- Our internal deadlines sit at least three days before the Revenue Department’s, leaving time for clients to review and pay.
- Two pairs of eyes
- Every return and every set of statements has a preparer and a separate reviewer.
- Explain it plainly
- Every report opens with a short note on why the month was a profit or a loss, not just a table of figures.
- Keep it confidential
- Client files sit in a system restricted to the people handling them. Everyone on the team signs a confidentiality agreement, and we follow Thailand’s Personal Data Protection Act.
