Our trainers
Every trainer fought professionally. All four are at the gym every day, and by Muay Thai tradition they carry the gym’s name as their ring surname.

First time? What to bring
You don’t need to be fit and you don’t need any gear. Turn up on time and your trainer handles the rest.
Bring with you
- T-shirt or tank top, and shorts
Anything breathable. Muay Thai shorts are not required.
- A towel and a change of clothes
Shower here and go straight on with your day.
- A water bottle
Cold water refills are free.
- Arrive 15 minutes early
Fill in a short health form and let a trainer wrap your hands.
- Eat light 1–2 hours before
Training on an empty or a full stomach tires you out fast.
- No need to buy gloves
Borrow ours for free. Hand wraps are 150 THB a pair at the gym.
- No shoes
Muay Thai is trained barefoot. Leave jewellery in your locker.
Your first 90 minutes
- 0–15
Warm-up
Skipping rope, a jog around the gym and stretching.
- 15–25
Shadow boxing
Guard and footwork in front of the mirror, with the trainer correcting you one by one.
- 25–55
Pads with a trainer
3–5 rounds of 3 minutes: punches, kicks and knees at your level.
- 55–70
Bag work
Rounds on the heavy bag for timing and power.
- 70–80
Clinch and bodyweight
Beginners do bodyweight drills instead of clinch until the trainer says you’re ready.
- 80–90
Cool-down
Stretching, and your trainer tells you what to practise next time.
What our students say
I had never punched anyone in my life. Kru Tom started me from the guard stance. Two months later the bag booms when I kick it, and I sleep so much better.
I bring my son to the Saturday kids class. Kru Boy is strict about discipline but keeps it fun. Now my son is the one waking me up to go.
Three weeks of mornings here before I went south. Proper pad rounds, no tourist show, and the trainers actually fix your technique.
The women-only class with Kru Prae gave me the nerve to start. No pressure, and the women’s showers are separate and very clean.
I do the night class after work. The trainers hold pads properly every round and never leave you on a bag for the whole class. Worth the monthly.
Clean showers, big fans, and enough English to explain every drill. I bought the monthly pass right after my trial.
Questions we get a lot
I’ve never trained and I’m not very fit. Can I still join?
Yes. Most of our students started from zero. Begin with Beginner basics (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday at 17:00). The trainer adjusts the intensity for you, and you can rest whenever you need to.
Do you have a women-only class?
Yes, every Wednesday and Friday 17:00–18:30 with Kru Prae. Women are welcome in every other class too, and the women’s showers and changing room are separate.
Do I need my own gloves or gear?
No. Gloves and shin guards are free to borrow. For hygiene we suggest your own hand wraps, which we sell for 150 THB a pair. Once you train regularly, a trainer can help you choose the right glove size.
How old do kids need to be?
6 to 13. Kids classes run Tuesday and Thursday 16:00–17:00 and Saturday 10:00–11:00. They focus on basics, discipline and safety, with no full-contact sparring. Parents are welcome to stay and watch.
Do the trainers speak English?
Yes. Kru Tom speaks fluent English, and Kru Ek and Kru Prae speak basic English. Foreign and Thai students train together in every class. Message us on WhatsApp in English any time.
Can I get a Muay Thai education visa (ED visa) through the gym?
Visa rules and paperwork change often and depend on your own situation. Please message us on WhatsApp or LINE and ask us directly. We’ll share the latest information we have.
I want to fight. How does that work?
Train with us regularly for at least 3 months, then Kru Ek assesses your fitness and skills. If you’re ready, you join the fighter programme with morning and evening sessions. The gym finds your matches and works your corner on fight night.
Can I reschedule? When do packages expire?
A trial class can be moved with at least 3 hours’ notice on LINE or WhatsApp. The 10-class pass is valid for 60 days. Weekly and monthly packages start on your first training day. If you’re injured or travelling, you can pause a package for up to 14 days at a time.
